Locust Presbyterian

Come check out some of the changes at Locust Presbyterian Church. New worship hours will begin on Sunday. New worship time is 10 a.m., with Fellowship Hour to follow with activities and learning for all ages.

Fred Valfer will be guest speaker at 11 a.m. Sunday in the Fellowship Hall.

He was born in Miami Beach, Florida in 1959 to two holocaust survivors. He grew up in Minnesota and attended college at University of Wisconsin Stout. He has been married for almost 37 years.

Up until three years ago he lived in the Midwest, but he now calls Mint Hill home.

He states he enjoys telling his father’s story of survival during the Holocaust as he cannot do it so often being 93. He tells their story so people will not forget.

You are invited to join Locust Presbyterian for this special presentation. The church is on West Main Street in Locust.
