Bio: I am a proud graduate of North Carolina A&T State University where I majored in Teacher Education and minored in Recreational Administration.
After graduation, I worked in Guilford County Schools as a teacher at several schools.
In 2012, I was honored as the Teacher of the Year for Gillespie Park Elementary and was a semifinalist for teacher of the year for Guilford County Schools.
I completed my Master’s Degree in School Administration and Leadership in May 2014 at North Carolina A&T State University and from there I was selected to serve Hugh Cummings High School in Alamance County as an assistant principal. I moved back to Guilford County Schools shortly after to take a position as assistant principal of instruction at Jackson Middle School.
I am excited to have the opportunity to continue to serve the Albemarle community as principal at East Albemarle Elementary School.

Cool fact to know: I am a member of Omega Psi Phi fraternity.

New students, we have been actively planning for your arrival all summer and we have many great things in store, all designed to help you be successful in every way.
Returning students, last year was awesome and we are so proud of the commitment and effort you gave last year as we worked hard to create a culture of excellence at East.
We have even higher expectations for this year and we look forward to you meeting and exceeding all expectations.
