Keith Edwin Drye, 57, of Albemarle, N.C., passed away August 11, 2018 in his home.

A graduate of North Stanly High School, Keith worked as an electrician by trade. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially swimming and walking on the beach.
Keith was a big sports fan; his favorites were NASCAR, UNC basketball and Panthers football. He also enjoyed gardening and cooking.
Keith was a member of Palestine United Methodist Church. He was a loving son and brother and will be deeply missed by his family.
He is survived by his parents, Sherrill Edwin and Betty Treece Drye of Albemarle, and his sister, Lynn Drye Dimac of Durham, N.C.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 22 from 12-1:30 p.m. at Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care, followed by a graveside service at Palestine Cemetery at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Palestine Cemetery at PUMC Cemetery Fund 37362 Melton Rd., Albemarle NC 28001.
