Dorothy Lucille Wilhoit Starnes, 72, of Albemarle, N.C., passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018 at CHS-Main, Charlotte, N.C.

Her funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2018 in the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care Chapel. Burial will follow in Randalls United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, September 18, 2018 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care of Albemarle.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the American Legion Post Ladies Auxiliary Unit 520, P.O. Box 526, Albemarle, NC 28002.
