Frances Faye Mauldin Scott, 93, of Albemarle, NC, passed away Tuesday September 18, 2018 in Spring Arbor. There will be a Private Service and no visitation.
Frances was born August 30, 1925 in Stanly County, NC and was the daughter of the late John Homer Mauldin and Daisy Barbee Mauldin.

She was a retired employee of Wiscassett Hosiery Mill.
Mrs. Scott was a member of West Albemarle Baptist Church.
Frances was a lifetime member of Weight Watchers and a lifetime member of the DAV Chapter 12 Auxiliary. She enjoyed visiting nursing homes on Sunday and visiting with her friends.
Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Scott.
She is survived by her daughter, Kay Scott Ensley of Albemarle, NC, and a sister, Dorothy Moody of Concord, NC, and special friends Rick Cox of Charlotte, NC, Len and Colette Schrank of Orland Park, IL, John and Sue Bost.
Frances was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Mark Ensley; three brothers, Lonnie Mauldin, Frank Mauldin and Richard Mauldin; four sisters, Leora Baucom, Kate Smith, Jewell Hicks and Maude Wiseman.
