Habitat for Humanity Yard Sale
Locust Presbyterian Church members are excited to be partnered with First Presbyterian of Albemarle and First Presbyterian of Norwood for the next Stanly County Habitat build sometime this fall.
Habitat for Humanity is a reputable international non-profit that fights poverty by helping people in need achieve affordable housing and home-ownership.
The goal is to raise $5,000 for Habitat and this build project. We need your help with spreading the word and collecting items to sell in a big yard sale on the front lawn on Sept. 15.
Please contact Jane Blackman 210-889-7932 or Chris Fish 704-451-5329 to schedule a time for item dropoff or to volunteer to help with the sale.
Working on site on a Habitat build is a very fun and rewarding experience, and a great way to invite people into the life of our church.
If you are interested in joining one of our LPC construction crews please let Evan or Chris know. No experience is needed.
The yard sale benefiting this Habitat build has been rescheduled to 8 a.m. Oct. 6 on the front lawn of Locust Presbyterian Church, 607 W. Main St.
