Here are the unofficial results for today’s election for the various seats in both the state house and senate as well as the U.S. House of Representatives for those official representing Stanly County.
U.S. House of Representatives District 8 – Richard Hudson (Rep.) 140,347 – 55.40 percent; Frank McNeill (Dem.) 112,971 – 44.60.
N.C. Senate District 33 – Carl Ford (Rep.) 47,057 – 68.32; Arin Wilhelm (Dem.) 21,827 – 31.68.
N.C. House District 66 – Ken Goodman (Dem.) 13,361 – 50.89; Joey Davis (Rep.); 12,338 – 46.99; Justin Miller (Green) 556 – 2.12.
N.C. House District 67 – Wayne Sasser (Rep.) 23,886 – 72.53; Karen Webster (Dem.) 7,917 – 24.04; Michael Finn (Lib.) 1,130 – 3.43.
