The community is invited to attend an open house at Stanly Regional West in Locust from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.
The event will include tours, free food and free blood pressure checks. Free stroke screenings will be available to the first 50 people. There will also be inflatables for children to play on as well as various giveaway items. WZKY 1580 AM and WSPC 1010 AM will broadcast the event live.
Stanly Regional West includes West Stanly Imaging, a diagnostic imaging center featuring X-ray, ultrasound, computed tomo-graphy (CT) and the first digital mammography system in Stanly County.
Locust Medical Services and Cabarrus Family Medicine both provide medical care for the entire family in the new facility.
“We look forward to showing Stanly Regional West to the community. It is an impressive, state-of-the-art medical campus,” said Al Taylor, president & CEO of Stanly Regional Medical Center.
Stanly Regional West is at 103 Stanly Parkway, beside Stanly Community College’s Crutchfield Center.
