The eighth annual Outdoorsman’s Bonanza will be held Saturday, March 26 at the Market Station on West Main Street in Albemarle.
Doors open at 11 a.m. with the Early Bird Drawings beginning at noon.
Included in the Early Bird Drawings are a John Deere Gator and nine drawings of $1,000 each.
To be eligible for the Early Bird Drawings, tickets must be purchased by Monday, Feb. 14. They can be purchased at Bowers Implement, God’s Country Outfitters, RPM Cycles, Cadillac Sign (Norwood) and Friendly Chevrolet (Troy).
Regular drawings beginning at 1 p.m. with a new drawing scheduled every five minutes.
The grand prize drawing of a 2011 Chevrolet Z71 4x4 Crew Cab is scheduled for 3 p.m.
Food, beverages and music will also be available for those in attendance.

SCC Chorus to perform free concert
Stanly Community College (SCC) Chorus will perform at 7 p.m. May 2 in Dennis Auditorium in the Kelley building on the Albemarle campus.
Locust to observe National Day of Prayer
There will be a National Day of Prayer observance at 12 p.m. May 2 at Locust Town Center.
Red Cross launches ‘Heroes’ Campaign
The American Red Cross, Stanly County Chapter, will conduct its 10th “Heroes” Campaign with individuals who sign up to be Heroes for the American Red Cross by raising $1,000 for the local chapter.

Egg hunt at Locust Town Hall
Mission Baptist Church, Stanfield and First Baptist Church of Locust will sponsor a egg hunt at 10 a.m. March 23 at Locust Town Hall in Locust. Rain date will be March 30 at 10 a.m.
Children 1 year to fourth grade are invited to participate. Bring a basket and a friend.
