— Emerson Gray Plowman, daughter of Jon and Beth Plowman of Albemarle, was born Oct. 30, 2007, at Stanly Regional Medical Center. She is the granddaughter of Bill and Audrey Rigsbee of Albemarle, Jean Stroupe of Richfield and the late Otis Goodman Jr. and Lee Roy Plowman. She is the great-granddaughter of Sarah Goodman of Rockingham.
