We congratulate Curtis Watkins on his induction into the Hall of Fame. His sister, the former Geraldine Watkins of Atlanta, Ga., was also one of the family that attended this ceremony.
Mother’s Day
The Mother’s Day luncheon, “Women Touched by the Healing Power of God,” was a success. The pastor, Bishop Smith, and coordinator, Sis. Gloria Kendall of St. Luke, wish to thank everyone that came for their support. Everyone received a gift, and each speaker had an inspirational message.
The Mother’s Day speaker at the Mother’s Day breakfast at the E.E. Waddell Center was from the New Direction Ministry of Norwood. Everything was lovely and the program was a success.
