Kingville Community Choir meets the Monday after the first Sunday, and the Monday after the third Sunday, at 7 p.m. at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Albemarle. New members are welcome.
Saints Delight Church
Bible Study Wednesdays at 7 p.m. Sunday school is at 9:45 a.m. and Sunday morning worship is at 11 a.m.
Upcoming events
June 21 - Pre-anniversary. Bishop Johnny Williams of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., United COG, Florida will be the guest during a special service.
July 19 - Elder James E. Richardson will be ordained as bishop at Saints Delight Church. Bishop Samuel Leak of Vauxhall, N.J. will be the speaker. A banquet in the Senior Center will follow the service. More information will be forthcoming.
July 20 - 29th anniversary of the Pastor Elder James E. Richardson and wife. The speakers will be announced at a later date

Union Chapel AME Zion
There will be an AIDS/HIV Awareness program at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Union Chapel AME Zion Church, MLK Dr. The speaker is Debbie Bennett a certified health education specialist from the Stanly County Health Department. HIV is a major problem in black America, we are asking every pastor throughout our neighborhood to join us. Please come out and be informed. This program is free and sponsored by the Nurse’s Guild of Union Chapel AME Zion Church. Reverend Valerie Ingram, pastor.
