SRMC Foundation presents scholarship to Greenlee

Friday, June 1, 2012 — Stanly Regional Medical Center Foundation’s second annual C.B. Crook Family Scholarship has been awarded to Emily Greenlee of New London.

Greenlee is working toward her master of science in nursing to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.

She is a community volunteer, involved in numerous professional organizations, and is a part-time nurse in Stanly Regional’s Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine while she pursues her degree at UNC-Charlotte.

The Foundation’s  C.B. Crook Family Scholarship provides $4,000 in assistance to help defray the cost of tuition for outstanding students in the field of health care. The Crook Family Scholarship honors the philanthropic work of the Crook family in our community, most especially in the field of health care.
