— Mr. and Mrs. David M. “Mike” Hodges of Troy, announce the engagement of their daughter, Ruth Ellen “Ruthie” Hodges, to John W. Sanders Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Sanders Sr. of New Bern. Miss Hodges is a graduate of Campbell University with a B.S. in business administration, a master’s in business administration and a master’s in trust, investment and management. She is a wealth analyst with BB&T Wealth Management in Charlotte. Mr. Sanders is a graduate of Campbell University with a master’s in trust, investment and management. He works as a trust administrative officer with US Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management, both in Charlotte. The wedding is planned for Jan. 26, 2008 at First United Methodist Church in Charlotte.
