Charles L. Steele and Nillie L. Steele of 718 Brown Ave., Albemarle, announce the engagement of their daughter, Charlene Steele of 289 Edenboro, Mt. Gilead, to Jeffery Paul Kelly of Albemarle, son of the late Eloise Gaddy Kelly.
Ms. Steele attended West Montgomery High School and is a homemaker. Mr. Kelly attended Alemarle Senior High School and is a tire builder at Michelin Aircraft Tire in Norwood where he has worked for 11 years.
The wedding will be at 3 p.m. Saturday May 17, in the Stanly County Senior Center, followed by a reception at the same place.
