Heather Carter is Player of the Year

— North Stanly’s Heather Carter heads the 2008 RRC All-Conference Soccer and for the fourth consecutive year is the 2008 Player of the Year as chosen by the league’s coaches.
The Charlotte recruit is joined on the All-RRC team by three Lady Comet teammates - Lisa Suggs, Keelie Ward and Rachel Barringer.
Others named are: Paige McConlogue (Albemarle); Ashley Harrington, Molly Peele and Caitlin Corbett (Gray Stone); Caitlyn Ritchie (South Stanly); and Alexis Rowe (West Stanly).
Named honorable mention are: Jessica Barringer (North Stanly); Heather Eudy (Gray Stone); Mariah Lowder (Albemarle); Allison Greene (South Stanly); and Marisa Freeman (West Stanly).
Bill Potter of Forest Hills is the 2008 Coach of the Year.
