Friday, March 22, 2013 — The Stanly County Health Department is partnering with Stanly Regional Medical Center to conduct a community health assessment.

As part of this effort, Stanly County residents, ages 15 and older, are encouraged to complete a 2013 Community Health Assessment survey. The results of this survey and the assessment will help us better understand community health issues facing Stanly County and help develop strategies to address those concerns over the next three years. Also, this information is used by various community organizations to apply for grants to improve our county’s health.

All residents need to do is go to the county’s website and complete a survey at www.surveymonkey.com/s/SCCHA. If one does not have access to the Internet, a paper copy of the survey can be obtained by calling the health department at (704) 986-3016.

This survey will be available through March 31. Your participation will help make a difference in the health of Stanly County.

Thank you for participating in this process.
