Karmen Raenae Little of Oakboro and Benny Dean Carelock of Locust, were united in marriage Aug. 4, 2007, at Uwharrie Vineyards. The Rev. Jesse Watkins officiated at the 6 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of David and Raenae Little of Oakboro. She is a graduate of West Stanly High School and has a 2-year degree from SCC for certified medical assistant. She is employed with Cabarrus Family Medicine.
The groom is the son of Dianne Carelock of Locust. He is a graduate of West Stanly High School and is self-employed in the landscaping and commercial flooring business.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She was attired in a white, multi-tier organza gown with a train.
Nikki Austin was honor attendant.
Bridesmaids were Krystal Baucom, Heather Briles, Samantha Hahn and Jessica Morgan.
Brad Carelock served as best man. Michael Barbee, Travis Little, Landon Smith and Michael Smith were ushers.
Katherine Huneycutt, grandmother of the bride, was an honored guest.
Kayleigh Plyler attended the guest register and Kristian Plyler was the program attendant.
Musicians for the wedding ceremony included, violinist, Amy Boger; pianist, Catherine Thomas; and soloist, Robbie Foxx.
Following the ceremony, the parents of the bride hosted a reception at Uwharrie Vineyards. A day prior to the wedding, they hosted a rehearsal dinner at the home of Nikki Austin, sister of the bride.
The couple are making their home on Highway 742 in Oakboro.
