Thursday, June 6, 2013 —
Sydney Grace Andrews and Cody James Wittman were united in marriage on April 20, 2013 at Bermuda Run, N.C. Rev. Jeremy Dager officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Bryan and Kathryn (Keg) Andrews of Statesville. Her grandparents are Paul and Lois Carter of Salisbury and Phoebe Andrews of Statesville and the late Thomas Andrews.
Sydney is a graduate of Statesville Christian School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she received a Bachelor’s degree in English. She is currently pursuing a Teaching English as a Second Language degree at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
The groom is the son of Joey and Jane Wittman of Albemarle. His grandparents are Patricia Mullis of Stanfield and Glen Mullis of Oakboro and the late Howard and Doris Wittman.
Cody is a graduate of North Stanly High School and North Carolina State University where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He is a financial representative with Northwestern Mutual in Greensboro.
Maids of honor were Ross Andrews and Ellie Andrews, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Heather Baynes, Christa Carter, Ann Sterling Dale, Lauren Ellis, Lauren Sherrill and Ashley Wittman.
Joey Wittman, father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Donovan Beadle, David Benton, Seth Hanner, Zach Honeycutt, Harrison Smith, C.J. Uthe and Daniel Wittman.
Soloists were Garrison Dale, Katherine Sullivan and Donovan Beadle.
The couple is residing in Greensboro, N.C.
