Fair premium books, exhibit booths

— The 2008 Fair Premium Books are available at Stanly County Chamber of Commerce, Stanly County public libraries and NC Cooperative Extention at the Stanly County Agri-Civic Center.
Exhibit booths for the fair are available first-come, first-serve. Anyone interested in an exhibit booth is asked to visit the Stanly County Fair Association, 24302 U.S. 52 S., Albemarle, or call (704) 983-2913 (office) or (704) 474-3673 (home).
The Stanly County Fair will be Sept. 16-20. The Demolition Derby will be at 6 p.m. Sept. 20. Call or visit the office for an entry form.
