Lt. Patrick Horsch, with the Stanly County Sheriff’s Office, has been awarded the Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate from the North Carolina Department of Justice.
Horsch began his career in 1995 with the city of Greenacres, Fla. In 2005, he and his family relocated to Stanly County. He worked for Albemarle Police Department for just over two years before joining the Stanly County Sheriff’s Office in October 2007.
Horsch is assigned to the criminal investigation division. He was also awarded basic and intermediate law enforcement certificates.
A letter from Roy Cooper, North Carolina Attorney General, accompanied the certificate with sincere congratulations and commended him for his commitment to law enforcement professionalism.
“This Advanced Certifi-cate also represents his outstanding contributions and achievements as a representative of The Stanly County Sheriff’s Office and as a Justice Officer in this state’s Criminal Justice System,” Cooper said.
