Recognition of Norwood School’s 100-year celebration will begin at 2 p.m. Sept. 20 in the gymnatorium, the oldest building still standing.
The elementary students will present the program including the singing of the Norwood High School song. A short history will be given.
On Sept. 21, the PTO will serve barbecue in the school cafeteria beginning at 11 a.m. Tickets for this PTO fundraiser are $7 per plate and can be purchased in advance.
At 1 p.m. Sept. 21, there will be a tribute to the 100-year event. Speakers will include graduates of Norwood High School and attendees of Norwood School.
Anyone knowing of any Norwood High School classmates, especially those living out of town, is asked to call or mail a note so they can attend this event.
The Norwood Museum will be open from 3-4:30 p.m. Sept. 21.
Everyone is asked to wear black and gold or class colors.
