    Reliever Brad Salgado retired the final 10 BlueClaws batters of the game as the Kannapolis Intimidators beat Lakewood, 7-6, on Sunday evening at CMC-NorthEast Stadium. Kannapolis (46-52, 17-14 Second Half) has won three of its last four games and will play for a series win on Monday against Lakewood.

    Three Intimidators pitchers combined for the team's fifth shutout win of the season, 1-0, over the Augusta GreenJackets on Thursday at Lake Olmstead Stadium. Kannapolis (44-51, 15-13 Second Half) scored the game's lone run in the ninth inning to snap a 7-game losing streak and avoid a series sweep in Augusta.

(July 16, 2014) - Brandon Brennan tossed six innings of 1-hit ball in his return to Class A Kannapolis, but the Augusta GreenJackets came from behind late to beat the Intimidators, 3-2, on Wednesday at Lake Olmstead Stadium. Kannapolis (43-51, 14-13 Second Half) has now lost seven straight games, matching the team's longest losing streak of the season.
