— Cheryl Lynn “Cheri” Burleson Wiggins, 53, of 1441 Hickory Ave., Albemarle, died at 5:50 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, 2007, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
Her funeral will be a 2 p.m. Thursday in Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel. The Rev. David Alexander will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Memorial Park.
Born Dec. 16, 1953, in Stanly County, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Cline Burleson and Frances Olivia Myers Burleson and was a certified school teacher, daycare, and a registered nurse. She was a member of Second Street Presbyterian Church.
Her husband, Albert Ray “Al” Wiggins, preceded her in death.
She is survived by a son, Nick Wiggins of Albemarle, and two brothers, Terry Burleson of Norwood an Michael Burleson of Albemarle.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle.
