Danny Hinson worked more than 20 years as a foreman

Wednesday, December 18, 2013 — Danny William Hinson, 62 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte surrounded by his loving family.

Danny was the son of Mary Ramelle Barbee Hinson of Oakboro and the late Floyd William Hinson.

He leaves behind his wife of 43 years, Brenda Turner Hinson; two daughters, Dana H. Ramsey and husband Tony and Amanda H. Morgan and husband Jeff, all of Albemarle; five grandchildren whom he adored, Nikki, Daniel and Madison Carpenter and Corey and Emma Morgan; and a great-granddaughter, Lindsay Litaker; two brothers, Terry Floyd Hinson and wife Fran and Eddie Van Hinson and wife Bronnie, all of Oakboro; four nephews and two nieces.

The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2013, at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. The funeral service, officiated by the Rev. Don Phillips, was at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 2013, at St. Martin’s Lutheran Church in Albemarle, where he was a member. Burial followed in the church cemetery. At other times the family met at the home on St. Martin Road.

Danny worked for over 20 years as a foreman with Davey Tree Company in Charlotte. He also worked for Signature Packaging Company and most recently for AExcellent Telecommunications.
