Charles Mauldin

Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007 — Charles Allen Mauldin, 43, of Concord Road, Albemarle, died at 5:42 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007, in Stanly Regional Medical Center.

His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Mark Medlin and The Rev. Jeremy Blake will officiate and burial will be in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, New London.

Born Jan. 10, 1964, in Stanly County, he was a son of the late Charles Fredrick Mauldin and Lou Hopkins Nowling and was a truck driver for Propst Construction Co. He was a graduate of Albemarle Senior High School and enjoyed NASCAR and the Carolina Panthers. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Lowder Mauldin of the home; a son, Terry Allen Mauldin of the home; a daughter, Whitney Marie Mauldin of the home; his stepfather, Hoy Allman of Mt. Pleasant; and three brothers, Todd Mauldin, Jimmy Ray Allman and David Allman, all of Albemarle.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. At other times they will meet at the home of his in-laws, John and Debbie Lowder, 212 Henderson Road, New London.
