Thursday, July 11, 2013 — RANDLEMAN – Joy Brown Brady, age 74, of Badin, died Sunday, July 7, 2013, at her home.
Ms. Brady was a native of Randolph County and was retired from the medical supply industry. She loved Jesus, spending time with her beloved family, working in her flower garden, and playing with her dog, Bo.
She was preceded in death in December 2009 by the father of her children, James R. Brady Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa “Terrie” Brady of Badin; sons, Jim Brady and his wife Jane of Lexington and Lee Brady and his wife Jennifer of Lexington; grandchildren, Nick Brady, Bryson Brady and his wife Jessica, Nikki Chau and her husband Michael and Russell Brady; brother, Kenneth Brown and his wife Patsy of Denver.
The family received friends Thursday, July 11, 2013, from 12:30-1:45 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 S. Main St., Randleman. A memorial service followed at 2 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ken Brown officiating.
