Wesley Lefler, 85, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away July 1, 2014

Wednesday, July 2, 2014 — Sellersburg, Indiana – Wesley Bruce “Tootie” Lefler, 85, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014.  

He was a retired brick and stone mason. Wesley enjoyed to karaoke and was a member of the Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge, as well as the American Legion Post 28 Bonnie Sloan.  

Wesley was born on May 6, 1929, in Albemarle, North Carolina, to the late Wesley Gannon and Fannie Ardena (Tucker) Lefler. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Eva Mae (Eudy) Lefler; brothers, Bueal and Aaron Lefler; and sister, Teat Kelly.  

He is survived by his son, David Bruce Lefler and his wife Debbie; and grandchildren, Sean Wesley Lefler and Kristen Marie Lefler.  

Cremation was chosen following Wesley’s wishes. Newcomer Funeral Home, 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana, was entrusted with his care.  

A Celebration of Life will be from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, July 5, 2014, at the Lefler residence.
