Frances Coley, 81, of Clover, S.C., passed away July 5, 2014

Monday, July 7, 2014 — Clover, S.C. – Mrs. Frances Lambert Coley, 81, of Clover, S.C., passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014, at her son’s home in Friendsville, Tennessee.

Services for Mrs. Coley will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at South Point Freewill Baptist Church, 2297 Gaither Road, Belmont, N.C., with Pastor Michael Byrd officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Belmont, N.C.

Mrs. Coley was born in Fort Mill, S.C., and was the daughter of the late Claude D. and Annie Mae Burris Lambert. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Coley was preceded in death by her son, Bobby A. Shaver and her brothers, James Lambert and Claude Eugene Lambert.

She was of the Pentecostal faith and a homemaker. She formerly worked at Kmac at Catawba Nuclear Station and 4 C’s at McGuire Nuclear Station.

Mrs. Coley is survived by her husband, Robert L. Coley; her sons, Donald Ray Shaver of Rock Hill, S.C. and David C. Shaver and companion Lisa Slattery of Friendsville, Tenn.; her daughters, Frances D. Tolley and husband David of Blacksburg, S.C. and Robin Lee Wallace of Tyler, Texas; her brother, Horace Lambert of Charlotte, N.C.; her sister, Zola Sweat of Rock Hill, S.C.; and her nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, S.C. 29732 and other times at the home in Clover, S.C.
