Sunday, March 24, 2013 — Maleia Suzanne Jackson Black, 56, passed away March 22, 2013 at her home in Rockwell, N.C.
Mrs. Black was born October 26, 1956, in Fulton County, Ga.
An employee of Walmart in Albemarle, N.C., she grew up in Charlotte.
A memorial service was at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2013, at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. Rev. Ronnie Cooper officiated.
Survivors include her husband of seven years, George Arnold Black Jr., of the home; her daughters, Sydna Smith Coley and her husband Greg Jordan and Leslie Brooke Smith, all of Albemarle; two grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; her parents, Raymond Mitchell Floyd and Sandra Gail Bryant Floyd of Stanfield; her brothers, Bobby Jackson and Michael Floyd, both of Stanfield; and her sister, Joni Love and husband Clifford of Stanfield.
Maleia was preceded in death by her brother, George E. Jackson.
