Teddy Montgomery “Ted” Honeycutt, 72, of Ansonville, died Thursday morning, April 25, 2013, at his home.
Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2013, at Bethlehem Cemetery in Ansonville. Rev. Claude Burleson officiated.
The family received friends from 12-1:45 p.m. Friday afternoon at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood.
Mr. Honeycutt was born February 16, 1941, in Stanly County. He was a son of the late Eddie Ervin and Emma Clark Huneycutt.
He was a retired truck driver and a member of Highland Baptist Church.
He is survived by four sons, Donnie Honeycutt and wife Debbie of Ansonville, Darrell Honeycutt and wife Sharon of Wadesboro, Doug Honeycutt and wife Wanda of Norwood and Eddie Honeycutt and wife Lynn of China Grove; two brothers, Melvin D. Huneycutt of Richfield and William T. Huneycutt of Albemarle; and one sister, Esther Aldridge of Oakboro; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, David Honeycutt, and two sisters, Betty H. Vanhoy and Evelyn H. Chance.
