Mary Burris

Thursday, December 6, 2012 — Mary Rinehart Burris “Coot”, 73, of Albemarle, passed away at 1:19 a.m. Friday, November 30, 2012, at Stanly Regional Medical Center, Albemarle.

The family will receive friends at Hillside Baptist Church, where she was a member, from 6-8 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2012.

Her memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 8, 2012, at Hillside Baptist Church. Rev. Scott Atkins will officiate the service.

Born February 10, 1939, in Stanly County, she was the daughter of the late Henry B. and Dorothy Mabry Rinehart.

She is survived by two daughters, Gail Baxter and husband James of Norwood and Jo Lynn Clark and husband Randy of Frog Pond; one son, Burl Biles and wife Sybil of Albemarle; three brothers, Henry Rinehart of Albemarle, Joe “Troy” Rinehart of Ohio and Cecil Frasier Rinehart who preceded her in death; one sister, Nancy Lee Talbert, who also preceded her in death; one half-brother, Bill Rinehart of Badin, and also preceded her in death, half-brother HB Rinehart; half-sisters Elizabeth Dunn and Lillian Currie; five grandchildren, Crystal Thompson, Daniel Biles and Deanna Biles, all of Albemarle, and Shea Clark and Karmen Clark of Frog Pond; two great-grandchildren, Summer and Hailey Thompson and also survived by a close family friend, Renee Efird.

Being the very loving person Mary was, she not only showed her friends and family love, but she always showed compassion towards anyone who ever had the pleasure of meeting her.

Stanly Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
