Love, exciting and new ...
That opening line from the hit ’70s show “The Love Boat” may be appropriate for the next month.
February is often associated with love because of Valentine’s Day, a day where florists, chocolatiers and greeting card writers do their best to fill the air with rose petals and poetic verse.
But since we’re not in the chocolate, flower or greeting card game, we’re going to try and add our own bit of loving gesture to Valentine’s Day.
The day is just a month away. We want to read and see your love stories.
It could be the way you met. It could be how you broke up and got back together. It could be about 70 or more years of marriage and how it worked.
If you think you have an interesting story to tell, write it up and send it in with your names, ages and address, along with your telephone number and email address in case we have any questions. We would also like to publish a photo of the couples.
As with all submissions, your stories may be edited for length and clarity in the SNAP or thesnaponline.com. One submission may be chosen for a full fledged story by one of the newsroom writers.
We will try to publish a few in the SNAP on Valentine’s Day and some may make the Website.
