Up next for Bread Riot will be bulk share purchases of pork. Bread Riot is currently taking reservations for a pork bulk meat purchase from Bame Farms with distribution at the end of May, and a beef bulk purchase will occur in August. If you have the freezer space for about 25 pounds of pork or beef, reserve now at breadriot.org. You can also split a share with a friend or neighbor. Bread Riot will also be bringing back the popular Winter Harvest, a basket of locally produced food. The program runs for 20 weeks starting in November and runs through March. Like Riot in the Pasture, Bread Riot aggregates products from multiple producers for the Winter Harvest program. Shares can be reserved beginning in October. Visitwww.breadriot.org to reserve a share and to sign up for email notification of other upcoming programs.
