Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast proposes to replace linear accelerator

Friday, August 23, 2013 — Raleigh, N.C. - Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast has filed an application with the Certificate of Need Section of the N.C. Division of Health Service Regulation to replace a linear accelerator.

 

A public hearing for this project will be held at 1 p.m. on Sept. 18 at the Kannapolis Train Station in the large meeting room, 201 South Main St., Kannapolis.

 

The project is expected to cost $6.2 million and to be complete in November 2014.

 

Anyone may file written comments concerning this proposal.  Comments must be received by the Certificate of Need Section no later than Sept. 3 at the following address:
