“North Moore played hard all night; I was very impressed with how hard they played and how they never quit,” Albemarle head coach Eric Davis said.

“Our girls played hard all night and played great defense,” Davis said in regards to Albemarle’s efforts in the home win.

The first-year head coach also talked about the team’s development.

“We still have a lot of work to do and need to continue getting better every day. We are very young this year, so it will be great to watch these girls get better as the season moves forward.”

Cracking the motor, hearing the roar, tearing down the front stretch at 200 mph with numerous other cars doing the same. The rush, excitement and adrenaline pumping all while maintaining focus and poise as you power the aggressive vehicle around the track.
