Search warrant reveals drugs, alcohol

Tuesday, April 3, 2012 — Two individuals were recently arrested after officers with Albemarle Police Department executed a search warrant at a home on Armfield Avenue.

According to Chief William Halliburton with APD, officers executed a search warrant on March 28 at approximately 8 p.m. at 918 Armfield Ave.

“Inside officers found numerous items of beverages and liquor bottles,” Halliburton.

“An investigation revealed they had been selling beer for $1 and liquor shots for $1.”

Archie Lee White, 53, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor sale/possession of alcoholic beverage no permit.

Also during the search, officers found Ricky Donnal Parker, 29, of 1105 Spaulding St., Albemarle, with four bags of marijuana. He was arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana.

Bond amounts are unknown as of press time.

Both individuals are scheduled to appear in court on April 23.
