List of area closings - update County offices closed

Friday, February 14, 2014 — The following activities have been canceled because of inclement weather:

Stanly County Schools will be closed Friday for students and staff. Saturday will not be a snow makeup day. A revised schedule is pending.

Hospice of Stanly County: Valentine luncheon scheduled for Friday at Immanuel Baptist Church.

The smoke alarm training at the senior center rescheduled for Feb. 10 from the previous snow storm has been postponed.

The Stanly County EDC Breakfast, “Breaking the Code - Stanly County’s Business Friendly Project Review Committee,” at Stanly Community College has been rescheduled to 7:30-9 a.m. Feb. 27. Reserved parking will be provided in Parking Lot E. RSVP to Krista Bowers at kbowers@stanlyedc.org or (704) 986-3682.      

Stanly County offices are closed Friday.

Pfeiffer and Stanly Community College classes are canceled for Friday.

If you did not receive your SNAP Thursday, you should receive it by 4:30 p.m. Friday.
