Johnson named interim tax administrator

Monday, September 9, 2013 — Charles Johnson was appointed Monday night by the Stanly County Commission as the interim tax administrator for the county.

He will fill the vacancy that will be left by current Tax Administrator Meila Miller.

Miller's last day in her position will be Friday. She has resigned in order to take a similar position in Iredell County.

But who would have thought that the big carriers would team up with Apple, Google, Microsoft, Nokia, Samsung and lots of other manufacturers to voluntarily begin adding the technology by July 2015?
