Albemarle announces debris removal schedule

(Continued)

Saturday, July 6, 2013 — Again, the City’s Fire Department would like to again remind individuals and contractors staging debris to do so in a manner that does not block emergency vehicle access to streets and does not obstruct or hide fire hydrants.  If you notice a fire hydrant that is blocked or hidden by debris, please notify the Albemarle Fire Department immediately at 704-984-9475.

We again want to thank everyone for pitching in during this crisis.  By moving forward with a debris removal contract, the City is doing its part to help property owners and citizens deal with this disaster.  We will continue to keep the public informed on recovery efforts.
