Tonight

East Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church will have vacation Bible school 5-8:30 p.m. Dinner will be served for the whole family from 5-6 p.m.

Tonight, Friday

Paul’s Crossing Baptist Church will present “Game On! Gearing Up for Life’s Big Game” — a VBS experience for ages 3 through completed eighth grade — from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Dinner will be served in the Fellowship Hall each evening at 6. The week will conclude on Friday with a grand pep rally celebration including a hamburger/hotdog tailgate.
Each evening will feature a pep rally, the daily game plan (Bible lesson), halftime music, crafts in the field house and snacks at the concession stand.
Paul’s Crossing Baptist Church is at the corner of Paul’s Crossing and Rogers roads.

Pine Grove United Methodist Church, 28766 N.C. Highway 24-27, Albemarle, will have its community breakfast 7:30-10 a.m.
There will be ham, sausage, bacon, eggs, sausage gravy, grits, pancakes, waffles, coffee and orange juice.
Donations will be accepted.

Mt. Olive Baptist Church, at 1109 Love St., Albemarle, will host its fourth annual car show beginning at 10 a.m.
Trophies will be awarded for winners of Best of Show, Best Paint and Best Interior. Entry fee is $25. Trucks and bikes are welcome.
Hot dog plates will be for sale for $6, which will include chips, drink and dessert.

Freedom Baptist Church in Locust will have vacation Bible school of “Shipwrecked: Rescued By Jesus.” It will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until 4 p.m. There will be Bible study, food, games and crafts for ages 2-12.

St. Luke Church of the Living Word, Inc., 801 Roosevelt St., Badin, will have its annual summer revival. Immediately after morning service, lunch will be served.
Theme will be “Reaching the Lost: The Power of One,” based on Acts 2:41.
The 11 a.m. Sunday speaker will be Vice Bishop Chenner L. Smith.
The 3 p.m. speaker will be Apostle Debra Robinson from Church of the Living God of Troy.
Speaker at 7 p.m. Monday-Wednesday will be Bishop Arvester and Lady Terry Lindsey of Friendship Churches of God, Inc., Ansonville.

Kinza Memorial Baptist Church, 4311 Love Mill Road, Stanfield, will have a bluegrass gospel singing featuring the Furr Family of Stanfield at 6 p.m.

An Adult Bible Study class will be offered each evening.
Vacation Bible school kicks off at 5 p.m. July 22 with a tailgating party.
