Local educators attend NCCAT

Several area educators recently attended programs held at the North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching, a recognized leader in professional development programming for our state’s teachers.

Participating educators from Stanly County Schools included Alicia H. Williams of Albemarle High School; Lindy Taylor of Central Elementary School; Dianne J. Austin of Millingport Elementary School; Brian C. Cribb of North Stanly High School; Leslie C. Hanna of South Stanly Middle School; and Traci W. Fleming of West Stanly High School.

NCCAT provides teachers with new knowledge, skills, teaching methods, best practices and information to take back to their classrooms.

NCCAT conducts a variety of professional development for pre-kindergarten through 12th-grade teachers.
