Joseph Brandon Cranford, 39, of Mt. Gilead died Sunday evening, July 8, 2018.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Stony Hill United Methodist Church.
Rev. Leslie Wray will officiate and graveside services will follow at 2:30 at Holly Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum in Thomasville.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 Friday evening at Edwards Funeral Home in Mt. Gilead.
Brandon was born June 7, 1979 in Guilford County to James Roger “Jim” Cranford of Mt. Gilead and the late Mary Jane Luquer Cranford.
He was a 1998 graduate of West Montgomery High School and a 1999 graduate of Nashville Auto Diesel College in Nashville, Tennessee. He was a Diesel Technician and Master Mechanic with Tyson Foods.
Brandon never met a stranger and had a heart of gold. He was always willing to help anyone at anytime and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his sister, Leslie Cranford Eudy and husband Ryan of Lexington. He is also survived by his niece and nephew who he loved dearly, Ella Jane Eudy and Cory Lynn Eudy.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by brother Jason Patrick Cranford.
