Stanfield resident Angelika Lindberg was named to the dean’s list at Sweet Briar College for outstanding academic achievement during the 2018 spring semester.
An engineering major with a minor in computer science, Lindberg is the daughter of Lavern and Brett Lindberg.
She was treasurer of the freshman class her first year and on the dean’s list both semesters.
Her team landed in first place during the engineering program’s annual Cardboard Boat Regatta, which takes place in the fall.
At the end of each fall and spring term, the college recognizes students who have shown outstanding ability and achievement in the semester.
To make the dean’s list, students must earn a 3.5 GPA with a minimum of 12 graded academic hours.
