Catawba College awarded baccalaureate degrees to 297 graduates and Master of Education degrees to eight individuals in two separate ceremonies in Keppel Auditorium on campus.

Recipients from Stanly County were:

• Mikaela Danielle Brown (Magna Cum Laude) of New London, Korby Michael Chappell of Richfield, Rebecca Lynn Long of Stanfield and Gregory Thomas Childress of Albemarle with Bachelor of Arts degrees;

• Samantha Paige Pugh (Cum Laude) of Albemarle with a Bachelor of Science degree; and

• Rhonda Evans Sturdivant of Albemarle with a Master of Education.
