Stanly County Schools has scheduled its Open House events.

Elementary Schools
Elementary schools have the following Open House events:
• Aquadale — 12-1 p.m. and 5-6 p.m. Aug. 23;
• Badin — 5-6:30 p.m. Aug. 23 and 5:30-6:30 p.m. Aug. 29;
• Central — 4-6 p.m. Aug. 23;
• East — 12-1 p.m. and 4-6 p.m. Aug. 23;
• Endy — 4-6 p.m. Aug. 23;
• Locust — 6-7 p.m. Aug. 23;
• Millingport — 4-6 p.m. Aug. 23;
• Norwood — 1-2 p.m. and 5-6:30 p.m. Aug. 23;
• Oakboro STEM — 4:30-5:30 p.m. Aug. 23 (kindergarten-fourth grade), 5:30-7 p.m. (fifth-eighth) Aug. 23;
• Richfield — 5-7 p.m. Aug. 23; and
• Stanfield — 5-7 p.m. Aug. 23.

Middle Schools
Middle schools will be open on Aug. 21 at the following times:
• Albemarle — 5-7 p.m. Albemarle;
• North Stanly — 4-6 p.m. (sixth grade), 5-6:30 p.m. (seventh and eighth);
• South Stanly — 6-8 p.m.; and
• West Stanly — 5-7 p.m.

High Schools
High schools will be open Aug. 20 at the following times:
• West Stanly — 1-3 p.m. drop-in for 10th, 11th and 12th grades. For ninth grade, parents and students can pick up schedules from 6-6:30 p.m. Students and parents experience a mock daily schedule from 6:30-7:45 p.m. Students will follow their daily schedule, moving from block to block with bells.
Any student who did not pick up their schedule during the 10th-12th grade time can come by the lobby to pick up their schedules during the ninth grade Open House.
• South Stanly — 1:30-3 p.m. for 10th, 11th and 12th grades.
Freshmen orientation will be 5:30-7:15 p.m. Students can pick up schedules, pay fees and have an independent tour from 5:30-6:10 p.m. There will be an informational meeting in the auditorium for 6:10-6:20 p.m. Students will run a bell schedule from 6:20-7:15 p.m.
• Albemarle — Drop-in between 4-5:30 p.m. for 10th, 11th and 12th grades. Freshmen will meet at 6 p.m. in the auditorium.
• North Stanly — 4-5:30 p.m. for 10th, 11th and 12th grades. Freshmen and parents will meet in the gym first 5:30-7 p.m.
• Stanly Academy Learning Center will meet at 5 p.m.
