Did you play an instrument in high school or college? Want to relive those band glory days?
The Stanly County Concert Band will have its first rehearsal of the season at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the Pfeiffer University Band Room (adjacent to the maintenance building, behind the chapel).
There is no membership fee, and if you don’t still have your instrument, one of the directors might be able to secure a loaner for you.
Rehearsals are 6:30-8 p.m. Thursdays.
The Stanly County Concert Band is under the musical direction of Carmella Hedrick, Tim Hedrick and Frank Poolos.
