Bio: I am a proud graduate of North Carolina A&T State University where I majored in Teacher Education and minored in Recreational Administration.
After graduation, I worked in Guilford County Schools as a teacher at several schools.
In 2012, I was honored as the Teacher of the Year for Gillespie Park Elementary and was a semifinalist for teacher of the year for Guilford County Schools.
I completed my Master’s Degree in School Administration and Leadership in May 2014 at North Carolina A&T State University and from there I was selected to serve Hugh Cummings High School in Alamance County as an assistant principal. I moved back to Guilford County Schools shortly after to take a position as assistant principal of instruction at Jackson Middle School.
I am excited to have the opportunity to continue to serve the Albemarle community as principal at East Albemarle Elementary School.

Cool fact to know: I am a member of Omega Psi Phi fraternity.
