I want to officially welcome you to the 2018-2019 school year. For those of you who are new to Richfield, I want you to know you are coming to a school that is second to none.
As many of you know, I came to Richfield after the opening of the 2017-2018 school year. I joined the ROARing Tigers with 19 years of education experience, 16 years in the elementary classroom, three years as an assistant principal at different local high schools and this will be my second year as principal at Richfield.
Our staff strives to provide a caring family atmosphere for all of our students. Daily, they provide rigorous lessons that will richly fulfill all curious minds and best prepare them to become lifelong learners.
We take pride in our vision and mission statements that state: to be your BEST you have to ROAR.
In other words, at Richfield we live by the understanding that to be Behaved Educated Successful TIGERs, you have to Respect others in all ways, Own your mistakes and learn from them, Act positively, and be Responsible for yourself, your body, your mind and your learning.
At Richfield we believe every child will be successful and together with our families and our community, we will make this vision a reality.
It is with great pride that I welcome you all back to Richfield, I extend a warm hello and am asking you to join me in beginning our 2018-2019 school year with a big ROAR!
