Vanessa Chambers: Women’s Day program coming up

Our hearts were saddened to hear of the passing of our loved ones Johnny Owens, Florence Grambling and Wilma Owens.

May God forever be with the families, and others who may be going through bereavement.

Parkers Grove Baptist

The ordination service has been cancelled and will be announced at a later date, please accept our apology.

There will be a prayer breakfast at 9 a.m. Oct. 20. The speaker will be Minister Johnny Parks of New Hope Baptist Church of New London.

All are invited to come and worship with us.

First Baptist
There will be a Women’s Day program held on Sunday at 11 a.m. The speaker will be the Rev. Glencie Rhedrick of First Baptist Church-West of Charlotte.
She is an associate minister of that church.
Lunch will be served after morning worship.
The 3 p.m. service will be conducted by the Rev. Shirley McConnell of McDonald Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church of Badin.

Hope, Faith and Charity

The church will begin their revival on Sunday at 7 p.m.

Each night the speaker will be the Rev. Nelson of South Carolina.
